For this month, baby Qistina have achieved a many 1st.... Listed as follows:
1. Her first walk on a baby walker,
2. Her first seating on a baby chair,
3. Her first crawl on both knees and hands,
4. Her first overseas trip out of Singapore,
and yes, unfortunately,
5. Her first fall off a bed or anywhere else for that matter......
I'm so damn proud of her. (
Eeeeer maybe not so for no.5.) I feel that she has grown considerably fast to my astonishment. When I first heard that she had had her first seating on a baby's chair, I was happily surprised and could not stop grinning.
Anyway on wife's birthday, bought the family and my parents to Skudai, Johor Bahru, for (
window) shopping @ the newly built Bukit Indah Jusco and then had some seafood dinner at Orang Asli Seafood Place...
If you are puzzled on wife unorthodox selection of location for her birthday outing, rest assured wife was never hit on the head by a fallen coconut, her head is still beautifully intact and she has not suddenly changed over-night (
although it would be great if she could have a mindset change sometimes or at least for a laugh, she could have a coconut fall on her. But please not from great height. I still love her..hehehe Huh? Not funny......??? *mumble* *mumble* *no sense of humour*.*mumble* *mumble* :p). It was my idea as I wanted to drive up to a new location and at the same time explore the surrounding places together as a family......
Well for tomorrow's event, I guess we will be having dinner with wife's family.... Don't know yet where will we be going but I'm sure it would be some place nice but common (
Swensen, Breeks!, Secret Recipe etc.....) :p Whatever it is, I need to start running again if I want to shed some pounds of my abs..... eeeeer I mean pouch!

After clearing the remaining annual leave that I have plus a few off-in-lieu days that i had, Friday was my last day @ work.
it was time to move on to another occupation. a new start for the new year, yet i will admit that i will miss certain things about the place. most likely i will miss the kids the most. their non-stop chatter and antics filled my days with laughter. often they had me shaking my head in frustration (particularly whn they run amock) but most of the time, it was laughter.
i will miss walking down the corridor & have them call out to me or have them running into the place and ask me silly questions like: "am i the first one here?" hahaha...
i will miss them definately, though i very much suspect that they will quickly forget me. but sooner or later it would have been time for me to move on. i just chose sooner rather than later.
a new year, a new start. a new occupation. a new office. a whole new set of people to get to know. i'm kinda excited. wonder how it'll be like

Today is our darling baby girl 7-month birthday........ She has grown considerably fast physically as well as mentally. Last month she starts to crawl albeit sliding on her belly (now sliding even faster), starting to eat semi-solid food using spoons, recognize some words and learning to give a peck and high-fives when prompt to although it's more of I want to eat you with mouth wide open and a low open fingers high fives respectively. I think it's the thought that counts...
Even for us, we have grown emotionally attached to her. She is like the battery to our light bulb...eeeeeeeeerrr..... Like sunshine to our life????? eeeeer..... Like a full moon to a cloudy night?????? You get the idea...
Anyway we celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary by spending time over lunch, having fun with some interesting activities at Sentosa and some activities..................................................
Wanted to go to Carousel @ Royal Plaza Hotel to surprise wife but it was fully book for the whole month of December... In the end we ate at Seoul Garden at Taka after much walking!!!

*blows dustbunnies off blog* it's been quite a while since i blogged abt... well... anything. i didn't even have time to rant... been kinda busy for the past few weeks.
checked my fb a few weeks ago after a looong hiatus frm it & saw tht some of my pri sch schmates were organising a get-together. it been a 'few' years since we last met, i don't even remember half of their faces. hahaha.. would have liked to join them but unfortunately i cnt. so hopefully they will upload photoes in their fb profiles whn the get-together is over.
opps... time's up. haha.. gotta get back to my little girl now. will try to post some updates when i can.
