i saw a spider as i was shelving just now. it's a small spider, smaller than my thumbnail but i freaked me out. i am still freaked out. might as well be a huge tarantulla.

I AM NOT GONNA SHELVE THE BOOKS!!!!! The spider freaking jumped! I am not going near those books. Nah-uh! No way!

*whisper* i'll do it tomorrow instead. when it's gone.

Salam Ramadhan Everyone.

this Ramadhan is the first Ramadhan that we celebrate with N.I.Q. in tow. it is also when the hubs is working shift again. *sigh*

i find that i miss having him eating sahur or during breaking fast together when he is on afternoon or night shift. but it brings me back to when we first started dating, when we would sms each other, "selamat bersahur" & "selamat berbuka" every single day.

for the past few days, i've been breaking my fast with my parents & sis. & every time, N.I.Q. will be in my arms when the azan sounds. she'll be with my @ the table, looking on avidly as we pass food & break our fast. although, it will end up with me eating later than the rest, i still won't have it any other way.

it was the hub's birthday on Monday. happy birthday sayang.. unfortunately, he had just came back from his night shift for the night before so we didn't do anything much.

i baked a brownie & cut it into a heart for him. which unfortunately, i don't think he got to eat until the day after. but he said that it was nice so hehe... success! if only it was from scratch. haha.

so neways, on that day we 'parked' N.I.Q. at my MIL's & preceeded to somewhere for our little getaway.

later that night we had dinner with my fam @ the kebab station @ east coast. nice food. nice company.

i haven't been feeling tht good since Fri. it started with back pains & stomachaches. thn on Sat, it suddenly got really bad. right after i finished up my wanton mee, my back started aching & my stomach felt as if it was being turned inside out. cold sweat broke & i could barely walk.

it happened again today on the way to send N.I.Q to do her circumcision. in the end, i consulted the doc who circumcised N.I.Q. one of her immediate questions to me was. "are you pregnant?"

my reactin? you guessed it a big fat NO! Nah-uh. No freaking way. i cnt be pregnant. i'm not ready to be pregnant again as of yet. wanna pay more attention to N.I.Q.

so neways, N.I.Q's circumcision went well. of course, there was blood (a lil bit) & a bit of crying but over all she was a champion through it all. so proud of my lil girl

headache. hungry. i m not having a good day. & to top it all off, my shoes went kaput!

did you stay @ home & watch the parade or were you there in the midst of the action? me? i stayed @ hm on tht day.

on monday though i got ard to watch G.I. JOE. such a nice movie. totally loved it, even though i was watching it under protest.. of course watching Channing Tatum wasn't such a bad trade off. he is as you can see super cutes. *blink blink*

i went shopping yest. it was totally out of necessity mind you. my bag which i usually bring to werk - malfunctioned. so you see it was all in the name of necessity. not because i've been hankering fr a new bag.. for the loooongest time.

met sis @ cityhall after werk. thn we proceeded to my fav shoes & handbag shop - Charles & Keith. went ard the shop 2 before i finally decided to buy this bag.

the shoes too were tempting. i was tempted to buy another shoe so tht i dnt havta wear my Ipanemas to werk. sides, i dnt think tht they'll go with my new bag. the bag somehow screams fr heels or wedges. so my darling Ipanema flipflop & strappy sandal will not be worn to work.

plus, i heard tht now... they say tht "staff are to look professional at all times" (or something like that) bleargh. so no more jeans fr me. sucks dnt it?

feels like i m wrking in a lawfirm bt even thn, i could wear jeans on fridays. *sigh* oh well, it's the sch holidays nw so i hav another mth to make sure tht i hav the correct wardrobe fr wrk.

speaking of which... i sooo need to tidy up my clothes & the hub's & N.I.Q's clothes in our respective wardrobe. *screams* help!

thursday... part of me wishes tht itz already fri so tht i can enjoy my wkend. heh.... plus i dnt hav to werk on mon. *blissful sigh*

the hubs sent me to the mrt stn nowadays whn he can so tht i'll nt hav to wait fr the bus. & was my precious time. hehehe... as usual he did so again tdy bt to my surprise, he didn't send me to psr mrt stn instead opted to send me to paya lebar.

as we were approaching the traffic light beside the stn, the hubs slowed dwn his bike & i prepared to alight. he was abt the pass this cabbie, whn suddenly itz door was thrown open. nxt thing i knw.. bang! & whn i looked bck... 1 of his boxes, was on the road.

@ the same time, i heard hubs say, "bodoh ah dekni."

after alighting, i grabed the box n place it on the hubs bike. he was already off the bike & well telling off the achi who juz got off the cab. "Auntie, nxt time. whn you want to go out, look first."

i cld tell frm his voice tht he was pretty pissed off. hey, it was 6.30 in the morn. haha... me? i was 1) too sleepy. 2) too sleepy 3) more preoccupied thinking abt the train heh.

as i went off to catch the train, i could hear her say, "thambi... thambi. sorry."

poor achi. so i msged the hubs whn i got on the train. asking him if everything was okie. he said, yeah.. it was fine & it was just a minor incident. to which i replied... "kesian ngok achi tadik..."

well achi... nxt time before you get out of a cab or any vehicle with doors... please look ah. if not you will bang into another person's bike again.

on another note. i'm going shopping tdy. yeay...

1 more day & thn itz the middle of the week. i m soo lookin' forward to the weekend. thtz whn i can really rest & spend time with the lil one.

had an fruitful wkend. on sat, i managed to coax the hubs to watch Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince. it was suchhh a wonderful movie. the hubs didn't get the appeal & was bored thro' out the movie. i myself enjoyed it a whole lot. cnt wait fr the nxt instalment.

on sun, the fam went to marina sq. i got myself a pair of new shoes frm charles&keith (which happens to be one of my fav shoe brands) before we proceeded to makansutra. food was good & i loved the sugarcane juice w lemon. yums! a wonderful thirst quencher.

oh & i coincidentally bumped into Aish whn we were parking our car @ Marina Sq. babe, it was sooo wonderful to see you. & oh yeah, looove the heels tht you had on frm Pazzion. gonna buy myself a pair, i think. hehehehe...

N.I.Q. update: crankier thn usual. wonder if it could b because i've started werk. *sigh* if only i could stay @ home with her. alas, werk & life doesn't allow me to do so
